Better and quicker than chipotle. I've been going for years and it is one of m favorite downtown spots. Nice staff.
Food here is tasty at Pasilla Mexican Grill and service is that of a fast-food joint.
Been twice and satisfied both times. Had a steak burrito and a steak bowl. Solid taste both times. Also have had chips and guacamole. Great taste all around.
I got the steak bowl which was to die for! Def worth coming here to try out and the quality of the food was so good. They have sauces on the size for you to take but they do charge for chips. It was $17 dollars with tip and tax for the bowl but very filling for me. The service was quick and only waited 5 mins after ordering for lunch. They are only open for lunch and I think there weren't any indoor seating so you have to do take out.
Whatever they spiced their meat with, it's really good. It has a good flavor to it, unlike most similar places that have meat without any spices added to it This place is similar to Chipotle such that you can get a burrito bowl and tell them what you want on it. They use Mexican rice instead of plain rice. They also have a cart with different types of salsas and other condiments. Prices are fair. Good prices, around $10.
this is a great locally owned burrito and taco place. The owner is super cool and the people are fast at politely taking your order and making your food
Solid downtown lunch option My first and last stop at Pasilla Mexican Grill was before the Covid-19 era. I was craving a good burrito and a friend suggested this Pasilla. It is about 10-15 minutes of walking from where I work, but I thought I get my burrito and exercise that should go with it! The place is small, so there are not many tables to sit and eat, but service was very fast and the chicken burrito I had was tasty. The price, under $10.00 (back then!). Someone told me they are open now, but I have not made it there yet. It is on my to do list.
Randomly came here for the first time on a cash only day. But, besides that. All positive. Quick service. MONSTER-size salad. And for vegetarian salad, guac wasn't extra! What? This never happens. All my favorite items in this veggie Mex salad (jicama, actually good guac, salsa, onions, corn, beans, tortilla chips, red peppers, cheese (no thanks)). Surprisingly great customization options for bowls, salads, and tacos. Very Veg friendly! PLUS -- great salsa bar! I'm obsessed. Epitome of a perfect Mex salad. New fave. Please start to take card..we are in SF. Barely any places to sit and eat. This is a hole on the corner of the street. Grab and GO dive into your huge meal!
